Renovating a wooden chair: restoring the structure

The simplest technique is to cut a square of fabric by adding 10 cm on each side of the seat (therefore 20 cm in total over the length, and 20 cm in total over the width). Then superimpose the wooden board, then the foam, then the fabric. Center the fabric well, and take care to place the patterns (if any) in the desired direction. Turn everything over, then fix the fabric on the wooden board using a stapler (sides, then corners). Attention, take care not to move the fabric and to tighten it well between each staple stroke. You just have to cut the fabric at the holes that will accommodate the screws to fix the seat to the structure of your chair.
